I am going to replace my cpu's thermal paste and I see those white/grey-ish things on components around the CPU and GPU should I remove them? If so what I replace them with?

UPDATE: The laptop survived, there was very tiny drops of LM on circuit near the CPU and GPU thankfully they arent really liquid and could pick them up with needle, and I cleaned the scraped part of LM on the orange squares too and applied tiny bit of thermal paste on top of both processor and gpu. I think I did a good job because after an hour of using and 1 cs2 match it didn't explode yet
