How to differentiate between an INTP and ENTP in the deeper level?

I'm trying to type myself after reading and learning about cognitive functions and in the end concluded that I'm either an INTP and ENTP, though that's pretty much where I got stuck.

I read a zillion articles, reddit posts and comments about both of them in the span of an hour or two and I still couldn't decide. I even tried to make sense of stereotypes as a last resort yet that didn't work either. I just wanna get done with it, or call it a day by just saying I'm an xNTP though I know I will feel it's still incomplete so a little helping hand wouldn't hurt.

Can someone explain how cognitive functions handle situations in daily life with examples?

Most of the articles that I've read are written in a formal tone and I feel a piece from all of them to a degree. It would help me a lot if I were given more realistic scenarios rather than more formal situations. That way I can see how I acted when a similar situation happened to me in the past and see how I work in the inside.

I thought I was an ENTP for ~6 years and now arrows point more toward INTJ and I'm having a tiny little identity crisis over it.

I never got too involved with MBTI yet whenever I took a test, it came out as ENTP. I didn't think much of it as I was pretty much fitting with most "stereotypes". But recently I wondered about other type indicators such as enneagram etc. and decided to check my MBTI type too and noticed I might've been INTJ all this time. Especially with recent years coming and stepping into the adulthood, I felt more calm especially on my "alone time" rather than my old chaotic self and that is just one of the many reasons why I might've been INTJ all along.

My question for you is that why could I be thinking I was an ENTP and how can I differentiate between them?
