Where did you land? What happened to you after you left the industry?

I am curious to see where did people end up after leaving the industry, considering it incredibly big turnover rate.

Tell us, but keep it nebulous enough so you still keep your anonymity.

I am looking forward to your answers.

Gaussian splatting for VFX. What is your workflow?

I am interested in doing some research in the implementation of Gaussian splats. It seem with all the crazy talk about ai this revolutionary method is being overshadowed.

What workflows do you guys recommend?

So what happens when the AI token value explode in price?

I have watching some reports that the average cost per developer for some of the most popular AI models has jumped to 300 dollars per day. Mind you this number is for Claude coding tools.

So what happens when the cost per token explodes in price for the image and video generation tools?

It seems everyone is a VFX artist now…(actor friend wanting to do FX for commercial short using AI)

This week I had a friend of mine , who happens to be a professional actor , consulted with me the best way for him to do vfx using ai.

After a lengthy rant from me about the issues with copyright, the fact that I feel that he stepping on my lane and ignoring the complexity of what I do, I pushed him to Comfy ai.

Anyway I wonder how many of you have had that same conversation.

How would you tell the story of the lost years?

I was wondering on what medium would you guys feel it would be appropriate to tell the stories between the end of the original series and the start of the miniseries.

Would you use books? Comics? Animation?

Tell us.
