For context I just played 1 and 2 on the switch (without motion control though) and decided to give 3 a try, even though I heard bad things about it. I'm writing this after killing the first boss Mr Blackhole. The game feels so good (and stylish) and motion control is no more janky like 1 and 2.

I played the first one on PC, loved it, thought I was missing out on the motion control. So I bought the Switch and started playing 2. However right from the tutorial I noticed the motion control is janky as hell. After that I learned 1 and 2 was made for the Wii, and 3 for the Switch.

Is it possible? I heard good things about the motion control gameplay but i don't wanna buy a whole switch just for this trilogy. And if yes, what brand of joy cons do you guys recommend?
