Most people know about the dangers of not crossing tracks at safe angles. But what are some road hazards you've experienced that you don't typically hear about?
This morning I almost ate riding over a very loose manhole cover at the Atlantic and Commercial St. intersection, right in front of UrbanAdventours. The cover sunked a good 2 inches or so as soon I made contact with it (already reported to 311).
For the life of me, I can't seem to find any sanctuaries or farms that can take in any chickens. I have three 5-year old hens that I can no longeer keep.
Got divorce and in the process of relocating so unable to take the chickens with me. I'm in the Boston area and desperately looking to find a good new home for my hens. If anyone knows of any places, that would be greatly appreciated.
For the longest time, I've looked for a light-weight pedal-assist minivelo. I have an e-assist Tern Short Haul and Cannondale Jekyll conversion that I both love but didnt make for great multimodal commuter bikes. Grabbed a Mosso minivelo frame, powdercoated it and threw on a CYC Photon kit. I absolutely adore this bike. Weighs only 38lbs with the motor & battery and compact enough to easily roll onto a subway or commuter train - perfect for daytripping outside of Boston.
