I have a great job/pay/work life balance but scary medical benefits. I have an offer to be a float nurse in a highly rated public school. I’ve never done school nursing and I would be floating to any school - almost 80 schools total.
Trying to get a sense if this is a smart move for the great medical benefits but I would have to learn this role and leave something I like a lot. I am about 5 years or so from retirement.
Any school nurses out there that can weigh in?

I am considering a job as a nurse at HCPSS - any input on working there appreciated. Is it a good overall environment as far as collaboration, workload, dealing with parents?

How is it working for HCPSS? Is it in general a positive, relatively calm, supportive environment? Appreciate any insights as I consider a job change to HCPSS.
