Hi guys!

I've had a transplant for 4 months now. The last 2 weeks I've been spotting(not period) and I also feel like I'm having a lot of upset stomach issues. I got my labs drawn mid last week and there was a rise in my creatinine from 1.0 to 1.3 and gfr of 55 well today I did my and my creatinine jumped to 1.68 and gfr to 44. I'm kind of panicking as I'm not sure what's happening. I've been feeling tender under my scar area. All of these issues I've explained to my transplant team in just waiting to hear back. Can you guys provide any insight? I'm a nervous wreck

Update: I've been asked to submit a stool sample, hydrate and repeat my tests in a few days. Doesn't make my anxiety any better

I'm curious do you guys have any soreness under you scarring or do they change colors at all? I'm 4 months post and I had cellulitis while my scars were recovering. Now they look more pink after certain time of day.

Hi guys I live in the PNW and right now the air quality sucks. I'm not having a great time. The last few days I have developed chills mostly at night but sometimes in the afternoons along with a racing heartrate 30 mins after taking my meds or as I'm falling asleep, no fever or anything else just tired and chills. Idk if this is a cause for concern. My doctors have known about my heartrate issue for a while. It comes and goes but my cardiologist said my tests were normal.

I'm 4 months out of transplant. I just want to ask if creatinine levels this early still move around a bit. I got my labs done today and my creatinine was at 1.31 but last week it was 1.07 and the week before it was 1.14. I guess I'm just anxious. Is this something I should even worry about?

I've been 4 months post transplant and ive been gaining weight like crazy like I'm up 1 kg in 1 day. I'm not eating anything more then I normally do. If anything I'm eating smaller portions. Has anyone else experienced fast weight gain after transplant?

Hi guys, I just started weight watchers I was wondering if there's an app besides WW where I can see the points of products I can scan while shopping so its easier to get a better groceries for my goal?

I got my transplant in April and I'm just going back to a job that is on my feet. Anyways I have noticed my bp increasing over the last fewer weeks and I have more swelling in my ankles today on my first day back to work. I've already messaged my care team but I wanted to know if you guys had any experience like this.

Ps. I was on bp meds before surgery but they were out on hold after since my bp kept wiping before 100 and I was starting to pass out.

Hello!

I wanted to ask everyone if they had to deal with weight gain after transplant and how they are managing it. I didn't worry as much while on dialysis but now that I'm 3 months post transplant I've put on some weight. I have started physical therapy to start rebuilding my muscles and bringing back my endurance. I also wanted to know if any of you have started or are on any glp-1s and how thats made a difference. I've discussed all this with my doctor and team already but I still like to to hear real life experiences of everyday people.

For the ladies, have your periods changed after transplant? If so anything new that wasn't there before as a symptom?

For those of you who have had transplant I'm curious to where you're creatinine levels are. I'm trying to determine a baseline. I got my transplant a month ago and mines been around 1.22 to 1.35. I just want to know should I be concerned since my GFR is at 53 for my new kidney.
