Last weekend we were playing a 5 player game of commander when one player used Malakir Rebirth on her commander, Elenda the Dusk Rose, and then played Massacre Girl. Elenda had no counters on her, so she was just a 1/1, and so died when Massacre Girl came into play, but was immediately revived by Malakir Rebirth. Malakir Rebirth says “until end of turn,” so we took that to mean that the resurrected Elenda would still have that affect, so Elenda would die again from Massacre Girl, then be resurrected, and would continue to die and be resurrected forever. Did we interpret the situation correctly?
