Sorry if this is a question asked and answered too many times - but how do you handle drying times for watercolors when on location? Attached is one of my first ever sketches and I revisited it maybe a dozen times over two weeks and still feel like the layers got muddy. I’m taking a trip in a couple of months and contemplating packing the paints, but hard to imagine actually doing it! Thanks for the advice!

At 54yo, I just took my first ever art class - perspective in pen and watercolor. I’ve attached my work as it progressed through the 6 weeks, starting with the oldest, and would appreciate recommendations on what would be the most productive thing for me to practice, find a class on, buy a book about. Every aspect of my stuff is pretty bad - drawing, values, color, application, etc - so I’m a little flummoxed as to where to go next. Thank you!!!
