This is my first IIgs, and it plus the IIe I got in the same lot are my first pre-Macintosh system, so please bear with me as I’m very new to this architecture.

The composite video out shows a distorted (but stable) image. Monitor and cable both are fine on the IIe. My later 16” AppleColor display shows no signal over DB15.

Any ideas where to start with this? Is this usually some soldering work or does it indicate a bad video controller?

Or maybe you thought tour Navajo was a Gulfstream and were using the wrong performance charts?
