Meet BTS new fans

Apparently someone started to mess with their laser pointer in the hotel they were staying in Peru.

Meet BTS new fans. The ones that they want to cater to now. The ones that listen to Chris Brown. They seem to be great humans.

Was it worth it, BTS? Ditching your loyal female fanbase, the ones that actually had some brains and loved your art and music, over the parasocial and misogynistic ones?

RM (or Namjoon?), I know that you snoop into this sub. Answer us, do you feel accomplished now? You must be. This is exactly the audience you want to target to!

You reap what you sow. I hope BTS have fun with their new male fans.

JM deleted his AI generated story on IG

Apparently Jimin posted this AI-generated photo on his Ig story… I guess he was brave enough to post it for a few minutes so he could feed off his shippers… only to delete it after so the rest of the world doesn’t see the embarrassment that is this photo.

EDIT: apparently this photo was edited with the 'AI content' tag, however he still posted it and deleted it after

Stopped listening to men's music but am at crossroads regarding mixed groups

Two years ago I decided to stop reading male's books. It was the best decision ever and fully allowed me to see how great women are, but how unfortunately not allowed by society to shine because of patriarchy.

I've been trying to do the same for male musicians. Disgusts me so much to see society cancel Sabrina Carpenter for "provocative" positions (if you want to call it that) during her shows but Chris Brown is doing so much worse during his shows (and selling out concerts) after being convicted for physical assault (and god knows how many more that haven't been reported). Yesterday I found out that Yves Tumor was being accused (with proof) of domestic abuse and sexual assault. What a bummer, I loved his music. 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s male artists, I think we can pretty much conclude that they did something wrong at some point in their lifes. Recently, BTS have been under fire this month for their misogynistic views (Korean men, what a shocker) and while I was a fan of them until last year, it still pains me to see a group I loved so much talk trash about women and write awful lyrics about us.

I am a woman and I don't separate the art from the artist, because supporting misogynistic men means that I am giving them a platform to continue their behavior (especially with streams on Spotify, pay is very low but it is still a payment). This has worked for me for the past year as I've been reducing my time streaming male artists (including groups with only males). However, I was thinking about mixed groups, for example ABBA, Ace of Base, Fleetwood Mac, Kero Kero Bonito, etc.

Have you thought about this? If yes, what was your approach? Do you still listen to groups that also have men? I'm trying to gather opinions and views about this topic, because it's something that I have been morally struggling lately.

Thanks a lot!
