I made a post how I hated newbies, and everyone dog piled me. But when someone else does it, they actually get proper conversations about how people can improve. What is the deal?

The scene community is supposed to be for everyone who genuinely connects with the subculture, whether they’ve been part of it for years or are just discovering it. Nobody starts out knowing everything, and newcomers shouldn’t be mocked or treated badly for learning. Gatekeeping and rude behavior only push people away and create a toxic environment instead of the fun, creative, and expressive space the scene community is meant to be. If someone enjoys the music, fashion, art, and culture, they deserve respect and a chance to be welcomed without judgment.

TLDR: Get a life

I’ve been thinking a lot about leaving Kandi because the environment within the community has started to feel unhealthy and draining for me. Instead of feeling welcomed or supported, I often feel uncomfortable, judged, and emotionally exhausted by the negativity and behavior I’ve experienced. A community is supposed to feel safe and uplifting, but lately this one has had the opposite effect on my mental and emotional well-being. I don’t want to continue surrounding myself with an atmosphere that makes me feel stressed or unhappy, so I think stepping away may be the best decision for me right now.

Is it just me or is there a lot of fake accounts trying to get into people’s pants?? I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with creepy people. Listen just because you like alternative people does not automatically make you alternative. Fetishizing people is GROSS. These people will always bitch that no one wants to be with them. But then they’ll get a partner and then control how they dress!! It’s gross!! Why date someone based off their style and then censor their style???

I opened up with a person that was VERY GROSS. I thought I was making a friend when they wanted me for a relationship EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM I WAS TAKEN AND PROCEEDED TO CALL ME HORRIBLE THINGS AND ACCUSED ME OF ACCUSING THEM OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT. All just because I opened up about my trauma about being used. People are so annoying and fragile.. I can’t open up about anything!! Does anyone have an experience like this?
