I know that Father Gregor is a pretty decent guy in helping people guide to betterment, but that moment seemed very questionable to me.

Why did he think that throwing a pot of very hot water to scare away trick or treaters was a good idea?

Couldn't he just put a sign saying that this area is off limits or just tell them to stay away from the Lord's house verbally?

What do you think?

Now before I get some upset comments and downvotes up my ass like last time when I posted about ships I like and hate, let me explain three things:

1. This is just my opinion. You’re allowed to like whatever non-disgusting ship as you please. I’m not here to change your mind or anything like that. I am only ranting about my thoughts on these two pairings even if I may come off as harsh or blunt about my feelings towards them. And lastly, I DO NOT HATE ANY JOHN X JACK/SMOKEYDONUTS SHIPPERS, I ONLY HATE THE SHIP ITSELF. NEVER THE SHIPPERS.

2. I tagged this as spoilers incase any brief mention of events that happened in the series I might make count as such.

And 3) Why I like the left ship but dislike the other one. So first off, let me say one reason I hate John x Jack aside from finding it overrated is how fucking. Boring. It is. Like what dynamics do they have that isn’t being cute? Hmm let’s see, grumpy x happy, serious x silly. Anything else? No? Well my point stands. This ship is boring with nothing interesting to offer. All I see is angst and fluff where Jack comforts John because John lost his daughter, wife and house and blablabla John has feelings for him.

But what about John x Ignacio? What’s so interesting about it?
Well, for one John is the sheriff who’s trying to take the cult down and Ignacio himself is a cultist so that’s one cool thing about them. Ignacio has photos of John and his family. Why is he keeping them instead of letting them burn in the fire he set ablaze in Johns house? Well obviously it could be for blackmail but you could also interpret this as Ignacio having an unhealthy obsession over John. Not only that, but their personalities would make some funny interactions with Ignacio’s anger issues and John not having the patience to deal with that crap.
And finally, the story potential. You could have this be a lovers to enemies thing where the two dated prior to Ignacio becoming a cultist, but then something happened that split them apart and drove Ignacio to then join the cult and swore revenge on John, even going as far as to kidnap/kill John’s own daughter and burn his house down. You could have this be a funny back-and-forth kind of thing where John keeps trying to find evidence on the cult only for Ig to ruin that. You could have this as a doomed yaoi ship where Ignacio starts to have some strange “attraction” towards John but can’t date him because he’s both forbidden to and that John would never love him back.

So yeah, that’s why I think John x Ignacio is, and always will be a better ship than John x Jack ever could. It’s interesting, it’s doomed, it’s angsty, it’s toxic, it’s old man yaoi!

Anyways, I yammered long enough. I didn’t mean for this to become a rant post but I know there would be some people upset that I like Housefire (the shipname) and prefer it over Smokeydonuts. Back the original point of the post, I’d like to hear what ships you enjoy while everyone else hates or ships you hate but everyone else enjoys.
