HUH?! WHAT?! WHEN?! HIS MOTHER IS HER?! WHEN?! HOW?! WHAT THE HELL!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?

Not only is he rather uncaring towards the various children that have been missing for the last three days, which sharply contrasts how protective he's been of Skid and Pump whenever danger's been afoot in the past, but he never thought to tell anyone that he saw them right before they disappeared.

Like why he didn’t care?? I understand that after years he must have got fed up with their antics but come on! He was written way too differently from how he was like in the past episodes, heck one of the missing kids was the younger brother of one of his friends! And wasnt he afraid of the dangers in keeping vital information from the police!?? Seriously in this episode he was handled real poorly in my opinion, way too much of a jerk. Not a surprise his his Butt-Monkey antics are played more as karmic for this episode, and he suffers much more than usual.

These are just a collection of references I found while watching episode 7. What are some other references you guys found?

Highlight of the episode holy hell

I haven’t seen anybody point this out but in the musical number of episode 7 there’s a reference to the thief and the cobbler.

So, aspen directly breaks the fourth wall multiple times even talking to us directly when she plans to kill the kids. We know from the Kevin scene that the mushrooms can make you see real life and that's terrifying for the characters. Aspen also uses and probably controls the mushrooms for hallucinations. In the end of the episode, Susie is scared when she sees the tree that is conveniently behind the camera. The shots we see of the kids being scared are of them looking at the camera.

I think aspen knows about us and the fourth wall and also made the kids except skid and pump see us. She is shown to have some power after her death when pump meets their parents.

at the end of episode 7, pump's parents come back, but a lot of people (including me) have been worried that the parents are actually some kind of fae trickery.

we know pump's eyes glow whenever hes around something supernatural/demonic. his eyes were glowing blue during almost the entirety of episode 7.

but when he was with his parents, his eyes are still white.

im not sure but this PROBABLY means they're real so we dont have to worry about them being evil fae hahahahaha rightt hahajahahahah its all okay right hahahaahahhahswgqywhwy

I believe Skid is dead! My reasoning is pretty loose, but hold on.

1. Why isn’t he shocked by anything?
   It could be chalked up to him just liking spooky things, but he’s not phased by Eyes, Moloch possessing several folk, Bob’s mauling of Streber, AND unphased by the tree(could still be on spores)
2. Why did the Tree go for Pump’s soul first?
   Pump’s soul was taken first oddly, but Skid’s wasn’t. Again, very speculative, but it’s odd.
   Now I feel people would say how is he alive now, my guess is that his father did a ritual of sorts, as they’re tied to the cult, and Skid and his father swapped places; which is why his dad is dead. And people could argue why aren’t his eyes blue then? Short answer: I don’t know. Long answer: maybe resurrection works differently from foresight. Either way, it’s just a Theory, a SPOOKY Theory, and most likely false.
