Advice on owning managed farmlands close to Bengaluru
I’m a 39-year-old woman living in Bengaluru. I am employed and financially stable, and I’ve been considering investing in a managed farmland close to the city, ideally in North Bangalore. However, I’m also open to Hosur or even Mysore if I can find good options at reasonable prices. I have enough savings to fund this.
My questions are:
Is managed farmland actually a good investment?
I’m interested in owning a larger plot with some vegetation, where I can take my parents so they can spend their later years peacefully away from the city. I would still be able to commute to Bengaluru for work.
I would also like to generate passive income from the managed farmland. Is this a realistic expectation?
Does anyone here already own managed farmland? If so, what has your experience been like?
Which are some reliable brands or companies I can approach for this?
What is considered a fair price for one acre of land? I understand this varies depending on location and the brand.
Ultimately, my plan is to retire and live on this farmland myself.
