Hi guys!

I am NZ born but raised in Aus and a lifelong dream of mine has been to reconnect with my culture in NZ.

I am taking a leap of faith and will be moving to NZ in the next few weeks.

I will have a little bit of savings but defo not enough for NZ’s economy.

I will be unemployed and living in a hostel or doing workaway gigs until I find employment.

Tbh, I don’t really care what the job is, whether it is hospo, retail, cleaning etc. I have experience in those industries and not afraid of hard work.

Any tips for moving to Queenstown?

Hi guys!

Today is my 28th birthday!

I received a lot of love and gentle reminders from friends, family and coworkers.

However, I feel a bit hurt and unwanted as my best friends have forgotten.

I will be cat-sitting one of my best friends house from tonight for 11 nights and they haven’t forgotten about my birthday.

They will be going on a girls camping trip with another close friend of mine for another friends of theirs bday.

I know it is just my abandonment issues being triggered and this happens most bdays of mine.

But I feel hurt and undervalued that my closest friends can’t even make an effort to wish me a happy birthday and I am going out of my way to be there for them, for them to celebrate someone else birthday.

Any advice/support?
