Why are they accepting new students at such a high rate if student teaching placement takes forever?
The heading pretty much sums it up, why are they taking new student every month when it takes 9+ months to be placed in some districts? This is so unfair to the students that are at the end of their degree, want to start their new career, just to be told you need to wait almost another year. I read a few days ago a student in the PNW was told they're being kicked out of the program because WGU cannot find placement for them. I have several contacts in the district and I'm considering contacting them myself for placement. Has anyone else successfully done this? Were there any consequences?
Not looking for hate, came here for hope.
