Looking for a new ENT for an issue with my larynx, and need to transfer Drs. Anyone familiar with Dr. Acevedo or NP Amanda Duke with West TX ENT? TIA !

Our good city officials have decided we are big enough for a bass pro-shop to be built, and it honestly broke my heart to tears when I passed by the de-struction zone last week as the bulldozers destroyed the native landscape used by annual migratory birds, foxes and other wildlife. It seems like such a hypocritical thing to put there. Especially since we have been in an active drought for nearly 5 yrs, our lake is below average level and the other lake across town is literally 3% full. We do not have any mountains to climb or even a decent hiking trail nearby to use any of the equipment they plan to sell there.

What a waste of space and money!!

I dreamed of Covid several years before the breakout, so whats the worst that cld happen with this dream 🤦‍♀️😱

I dreamed last night I went to do a home nursing visit with my husband and as we were leaving the patients home we learned we must quarantine due to being exposed to Hantavirus. As we leave the home all the local radio stations are on emergency broadcasting that the city will go into lock down beginning at 5pm due to virus containment.

Do what you will with that information ... be safe out there everyone

Ive never 'hoped' for positive test results but after having a strep like pain in my throat for 2 yrs I am absolutely desperate.

I was falsely diagnosed with strep throat 2 yrs ago and after suffering for a year they finally took my tonsils out last February. By May the pain was back and my ENT was useless.

I have had so much intense pain in my throat and NOONE has been any help until last fall when my GI gave me some liquid samples of a medication for EOE in a last ditch effort for relief. Within 30 minutes of my 1st dose I had more relief than ive had in literal YEARS!! Ive already been previously diagnosed with chronic gastritis but those meds haven't really helped my throat pain at all.

I am finally getting my EGD tomorrow morning and I am praying to every God in the heavens that it shows something. ANYTHING. I am so desperate for actual relief 😮‍💨.

It sucks having to constantly advocate for yourself, when you dont even know what wack-a-doo hEDS symptom you will have this month 😕.
