Calm 13 week Mini Aussiedoodle
How old was your AD when they showed signs of the typical Aussiedoodle temperament. My mini Aussiedoodle is 13.5 weeks old and so far he is very mellow. He plays with my 1 year 9 month old Cavalier so well. The first few days I brought him home he was trying to hump, but my Cavalier is very type A and put him in check quickly (like a parent would do to their puppy.) My Cavalier has more of a Golden Retriever personality. He loves fetch and barks at any noise outside. My Aussie doodle just watches him like “why are you so loud dude.” Did I just get really lucky with his temperament or are all of the things I’m reading something that happened later? I’m watching carefully for herding behavior. He did bite at my Cavaliers ankles for a few days, but I corrected that behavior and he’s getting much better with it. He also knows when to stop. He’s been great with other people, children and other dogs as well.
