Hi guys I’m currently on fluoxetine switched from sertraline due to panic attacks and excessive sweating been on fluoxetine for a few months and since I live in Arizona it started getting warmer here I noticed the sweating getting worse I’m drenched in sweat at work now I can’t take it anymore! My neuro originally recommended pristiq because I also have ms and she said it would help with fatigue but I was nervous with the raised blood pressure side effects but I think at this point I’d rather try it than keep being so sweaty! Can anyone else tell me if they experience excessive sweating with pristiq?

Hi guys I’m currently on fluoxetine 20 mg I switched after 3 months of sertraline because I was just sweating so bad, I never have clammy hands or sweat usually, but on sertraline I was so sweaty, having panic attacks I would get heat flashes, switched to fluoxetine and the same happened except panic attacks, I live in Arizona I began fluoxetine in December and noticed the sweating but since it wasn’t summer it wasn’t too bad the second it started getting hotter here my sweating got so bad I’m like drenched in sweat at work now it’s embarrassing. My neuro originally recommended pristiq because I also have MS and she said it can help with the fatigue, I was worried due to the blood pressure side effect so I asked to start something else, but now I’m really considering switching to pristiq does anyone else get sweating as a side effect on pristiq?
