Genuinely Curious
I wanted to hear some perspectives because I’ve never stanned a kpop group so maybe katseye fans ideology is different from mine.
is it normal that when a member is ”supposedly” mistreated that ppl continue to Stan or when a member is on hiatus that the group doesnt mention them at all? bc im one of the ones that believed the haitus at first until Coachella.
and I see why ppl still support the others bc I intend to support my bias regardless as well. but would most of you say you’ll continue stanning because theirs a girl(s) in the group you bias or personally love/relate to or do you genuinely like the group as a whole? I’m just curious bc I know it’s a wave of new fans but I am curious abt the ot6 fans and day1s who don’t mind what’s going on and say theyll still support katseye? like I understand if you love Dani and yoonchae and supporting them means supporting katseye.
I think what I’m saying is if another member were to leave/put on haitus, do you think the rhetoric would still be the same? Like as long as dani yoonchae and Lara are there I’ll support ! Or is there a point any of you would get to where it’s like ehh I can’t support this? I’d seen a similar post saying would ppl support if it was proven the Manon mistreatent allegations were true , and 50% of ppl still said yeah. So like is this normal for kpop groups fandoms? I know the training is hard, but I’m confused on why fans accept the dark side of it so openly. Like we see stars make documentaries later on abt challenges that affected their life and ppl sympathize, only for similar scenarios to be applauded now while watching it unfold as viewers .
