My mom is very anxious about my safety. I'm her adult daughter. She insists that I should ask an employee if I have to go shopping at night. Specifically at Walmart. I told her I don't feel that's necessary unless I feel there is some source of danger. It being night doesn't seem like danger in itself. I don't usually shop at night. But sometimes I do. I'm just curious because she acted like I was doing something wrong by not asking an employee to escort me to my car. When I worked retail I never saw anyone escort any customers. So I'm wondering if this is something that happens in other places.
