Dubai find 💚 My anniversary gift ended up being totally different from what I planned

We celebrated our anniversary in Dubai this year, and my partner told me to pick out something I really loved as my gift. 💝

I originally had my heart set on a Judith Leiber Martini Glass bag, but my partner took one look at it and said it looked a little too much like a toy 😂 So we kept shopping… and somehow ended up finding this Valentino instead.

And I’m actually so glad we did.

Green has always been one of my favorite colors, and this deep green with the purple-and-white trim immediately caught my eye. But the best part is all the embroidery and sequin work — there’s so much going on, yet somehow it still feels elegant rather than overly busy.

The jeweled VLogo on the front is definitely a statement, but I think that’s exactly what makes the whole bag feel special. It has that slightly vintage, almost collectible feel to it.

Definitely not the bag I expected to come home with, but maybe that’s why I love it even more. 💚

If I had 10,000 reasons to love Cartier, versatility would be #1

What I love most about Cartier is how easily it mixes with almost everything.

Yellow gold, white gold, diamonds, pearls, vintage pieces, even jewelry from completely different brands — somehow Cartier rarely feels out of place. And their watches might be even better for stacking.

I’m especially drawn to the older pieces lately. The vintage Trinity designs, including the Trinity Constellation and the 1998 Christmas edition, have so much more personality to me than just buying whatever is current.

I’d love to keep finding older Cartier pieces that work with a slightly more neutral / androgynous wardrobe.

What vintage Cartier pieces would you hunt for?

Tiny bag, unnecessarily fancy charm

This bag is small, but somehow it still fits way more than I expect.

So naturally I did the completely reasonable thing and gave it a ridiculously fancy crocodile leather charm 😂

I love how something this tiny can change the whole personality of the bag.

Do you like keeping small bags simple, or adding one slightly over-the-top charm?
