Stay 100 feet away from SLS serenity

We shifted to SLS Serenity on July 15 and rented a 2BHK. The owner initially told us that the rent would be ₹43,000, including the water bill, with the water charges to be paid separately based on actual consumption. We agreed to this arrangement, but unfortunately, we were very wrong to trust what was promised.

Before moving in, we had shared several issues with the flat with the owner over WhatsApp. He promised that everything would be fixed, but even after moving in, none of those issues were properly addressed.

On top of that, the owner insists that the rent must be paid strictly on the 1st of every month, with absolutely no flexibility. Interestingly, he owns around 15 flats in the same apartment, which makes the situation even more frustrating.

Then comes the biggest issue: the water bill. We are being charged around ₹8,000 per month for water. Even when our actual consumption is low, the meter readings appear to be adjusted or manipulated, resulting in an unusually high bill.

The apartment manager is another major problem. He does not seem to take responsibility for anything and often does not even respond to residents' concerns.

I once complained to the manager about my neighbours leaving open garbage right next to our house. The response I received was unbelievable: he said he could not say anything to them because that person owns around 10 flats in the same apartment and is himself an owner. At that point, I was honestly left wondering what the purpose of having a manager is if residents cannot even raise basic cleanliness and hygiene concerns.

Overall, our experience at SLS Serenity has been extremely disappointing. The lack of accountability, unresolved maintenance issues, questionable water charges, and the management's unwillingness to address genuine resident complaints have made living here a very frustrating experience.
