Am I Moving Too Fast?

I’m 26F, living at home with minimal expenses and on an $85k salary before tax. I have $100k in savings and a $50k inheritance.

I have a long term partner who also lives at home earning the same wage.

I can save up to $800 a week, which I currently split between savings, ETFs, car account and holiday account. My partner saves the same amount.

I have a great home life, great relationship with parents, great house with amenities and in a nice suburb.

However, I can’t out save the market, so my partner and I have considered purchasing a small unit or apartment up to $750,000. We’d really like to live together and enter a new chapter, and I want to set myself up for financial security.

Or, we could keep living at home and not take on serious debt, and keep cruising financially (but to the slight detriment to our mental health).

I don’t know if I should take this next step seriously or not, I can’t tell if I am moving too fast and should just enjoy my current situation and keep saving.

I have also travelled significantly for anyone that recommends I stay home in order to experience travel. i am good with budgeting so I would plan to keep travelling even with a mortgage.

Would love to hear anyone’s opinion.
