Anyone Recognize This Pattern?

Hi everyone! Knit this back during Covid lockdown, then it got mixed in with stash and did not see the light of day until this weekend. Does anyone recognize this pattern? From the way my mom is eyeing it, I may have to knit another very soon. :D Thankyas

Top down purled kids sweater

I want to make a sweater for my son that is worked top down so I can add this owl in the front. The pattern for the owl is for a top down sweater. It’s also recommended to do it on a purled background. He would also love to have a hood on it. I’m having trouble finding a sweater pattern that is top down and purled. I’ve only ever made one knit sweater before so I’m definitely a newbie at sweaters. I want something seamless this time. Can anyone recommend a pattern? I tried searching Ravelry but didn’t seem to be able to find what I was looking for. Is it possible to add a hood to a top down sweater or am I asking for too much? Thanks!

Iconic gap sweater pattern

I’m looking for a sweater pattern to recreate the iconic striped gap sweater, finding it a little difficult to find the right silhouette that doesn’t have dropped shoulder etc and the turtle neck style I’m looking for….

Knitting pattern adaptation

Im wanting to adapt a Harry Potter themed knitting pattern i have for a jersey/jumper into a baby blanket and I am having a hard time working out how to work out the motif distribution/adoption to the correct size of the baby blanket.

Overall I was wanting to make the baby blanket approx 100x120cm, using 8ply/DK yarn and 4.0mm needles. I wanted to do a garter stich border with the first and last 10 rows, and first + last 5sts.

I dont want to have to do too many repeats of the motifs and make the blanket look too busy but im struggling with the maths.

Is anyone able to help me out or point me in the right direction?

Added photos of the original pattern/motifs

Full pattern/photo Credit to: Harry Potter Knitting Magic by Tanis Gray.

Edit: Tension os 10x10cm when worked 22 stitches across 30 rows on 4mm needles, working flat. With some maths help, working the motifs across 24 stitches,23 rows high, with 12 stitch gap would create 5 repeats distributed across the blanket but im unsure how to scale the motifs within that.

Beautiful sweater with no pattern:(

Hi!

I find this sweater beautiful but the creator says she freehanded it and hasnt made a pattern for it. Does anyone know a similar pattern and/or have any ideas on how they would knit something like it?

Help reading a pattern!

Hello!
I am relatively new to knitting and am attempting this pattern for my nephew (size 6/12mos). image above, found HERE.

I am confused about the beginning, because if I do as they say at the start, then the *K2, P2* will not line up, as row 1 and 2 aren't opposites, so the ribbing won't look ribbed like the photo, but will look like big seed stitch? Then I thought, maybe it's supposed to be knit in the round, but then the starting/ending stitch will be weird, and also later it says to cast off and sew center back seam.

Now i'm thinking there's a typo?

Later also, after the first set of ribbing, there's a K3, P2, K2 which would match the K, *K2, P2.* from above..
So I'm thinking it's the second row, P1, *K2, P2*... that's mixed up, and it should be P1 *P2, K2*...
Anyway. I'm feeling a bit anxious to just assume there's a typo.

Is that right?

Also, seems weird to want K3? wouldn't that ruin the ribbing pattern?

help! Anyone with more experience with patterns and hats understand what's going on?

Thanks!

Looking for a pattern similar to this top!

Please, if anyone knows a designer who has a knitting pattern like this, let me know! Or other patterns in a similar style, kind of medieval, renaissance, fairycore... I don't even know how to properly describe..

Thank you!!

Help finding a knitting pattern from the 1940s

This might be a long shot but I am trying to find a knitting pattern for a vest that my Grandmother made for my Grandfather in 1940s or 50s. I want to try and recreate it but I can't find the pattern, does anyone recognise it or know a similar pattern that I could edit instead. Apparently the original pattern was red and green. Thank you :)

Sweater with this shoulder construction - or one that is close

This is Hedebølge sweater, and the pattern is only available in a new? Danish book, so unavailable to me.

I love this garter stitch shoulder construction, on top of a stockinette rectangle - can you recommend similar patterns? Drop shoulder would be fine. I really love how the garter forms a V on the shoulders.

Going Rogue

I (intermediate knitter) went on a trip to Paris a few weeks ago and walked by a cute store called Mes Demoiselles. I thought it would be fun to make this cardigan and tank top that I saw in the window. I can’t find a pattern that is exact on raveley, but I can see the pattern and could make a guess with a test swatch. It looks like mohair to me. Should I Frankenstein a pattern to get my sizing and then work on the lace once I have a swatch that I write down that makes sense? Do you have any recommended places to look besides ravelry?

Maude Set by Boel Studios

Hello!

I found this gorgeous pattern on Pinterest, but it looks like the designer has stopped posting. The last thing she posted was the Maude Set, and I cannot find anyone who has made it.

Anyways, I’m wondering if anyone has seen this pattern and thought about making it OR has made it. If you know of any similar patterns that have been reviewed, please drop them in the comments!

Thank you 🥰

Looking for a knitting pattern like this!

Hey guys <3

I'm looking for a sweater pattern that has the kind of style as seen in the photos. I love the rolled-over mock-neck look, some boxiness. I’m having a hard time finding exactly what I want because I want to work with a raglan rather than a seamed shoulder. What I've found so far has been either too oversized or the wrong shoulder construction for me, or just generally something is off IMO.

I've included 'inspiration' photos of sweaters that I've seen and liked.

The best I'd describe what I'm looking for is like a modern day fisherman style sweater? I'll be working with merino and mohair held together so I think it would fit that description well once it's finished. If you have anything in mind, please share!! I am willing to pay for a pattern so patterns do not have to be free to share.

Thank you so much for your help!!

This one's my fav but it's super oversized and uses a fuck-ton of yarn. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1773532095/easy-raglan-plain-knit-sweater-jumper?ref=collection_page&bes=1&pro=1

I like the boxiness of this one a lot. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4471273735/inga-sweater-english-knitting-pattern?ref=collection_page
