Been an Oura user some years now. The ring is great. The mobile app is fine. But I work at a desk all day and constantly unlocking my phone just to check readiness or HRV felt like friction that shouldn't exist.
So I built Vitra — a Mac/Windows companion that pulls your Oura data locally. No cloud, no account, your data never leaves your machine.
The AI side took longer — it studies your actual patterns across days/weeks/months and gives you a plain-English read: "You're ready. Train hard this morning." Not population averages. Not jargon. Just what your body is telling you, tuned to you.
14 days to lock in your baseline. After that it starts calling things like "alcohol hits you harder than average" or "rooms below 19°C give you deeper sleep."
It's v0.5.2, still early. Happy to hear what the community thinks — especially what's missing from your current Oura workflow.

I want some more testers before v1.0.0 so I am willing to give out some lifetime keys. To those interested.
Thanks in advance!
