Genshin's relationship with past games is severely misunderstood

The mentioned post links will be in the comments.

Edit: This post has once again been falsely reported several times, and I received a redditcare. It's also pretty obvious that some of the commentors did not bother reading any of the posts they're oh so happy to 'debunk'. Can we talk about this topic maturely, please?

2nd Edit: I wish Reddit had a heart system like youtube so I could put a big heart on all the people saying nice things.

18 slides to briefly explore an important part of Tsaritsa's history and identity: Being a Bronya.

Edit: Please read the contents before commenting or voting. I've seen a lot of replies now from people that very obviously did not read the post, with the post directly addressing their points. This post has also been unjustly reported several times now.

A lot of people don't see Bronya when they look at Tsaritsa. If you look at her and don't see how she could be a Bronya, think back to how variants in Genshin Impact have been portrayed in the past. People thought the same things about Venti, Ei and Nahida in the past, but now they're commonly accepted as variants.

Most people don't engage with the subject of character variants enough to discover what makes it tick (which is fine, we all have our own interests). So there are a lot of misconceptions floating around.

This 18 page, text heavy exploration is still rather surface level. Tsaritsa's story isn't out yet. We'll have more to talk about and compare and contrast then. Nevertheless, I believe this should be sufficient to make the case that Tsaritsa is in fact a Bronya, just as she had been predicted to be since the start of the game.

-grape-'s thread on the subject of variants, with lots of cute illustrations, will be in the comments, as reddit doesn't always like links in the main post.

17 slides to briefly explore an important part of Tsaritsa's history and identity.: Being a Bronya.

This is pretty much what the title says. A lot of people don't see Bronya when they look at Tsaritsa. I would like to invite you to think back to how variants in Genshin Impact are portrayed. People thought the same things about Venti, Ei and Nahida in the past, but now they're commonly accepted as variants.

Most people don't engage with the subject of character variants enough to discover what makes it tick (which is fine, we all have our own interests). So there are a lot of misconceptions floating around.

Studying character variants has been a huge part of my life for the past 6-ish years. I understand that this 17 page, text heavy exploration is still rather surface level. Tsaritsa's story isn't out yet. We'll have more to talk about and compare and contrast then.

Nevertheless, I believe this should be sufficient to make the case that Tsaritsa is in fact a Bronya, just as she had been predicted to be since the start of the game.

It seems posting links causes the post to get auto-removed, so I'll put the link to - grape-'s cute post explaining the concept of expies variants in the comments instead.
