Still life in ballpoint pen. Decided to add a background after I already colored it in w/the watercolor pencils
(which I’ve not yet activated. ) Hope I don’t mess up the background! Will be working on monthly challenge later in the coming week.
Like the bumps on the frog’s back, the whites of his little eyes, and random reflective speckles in the debris pile?
$3.00 at my local Dollar Tree. Not expecting top quality, but certainly better than the sketchbook paper I’ve been working with.
I don’t think more work on this one will get it where I’d like it to be (it’s overworked for my liking already.)
Still, I’m enjoying the process and the experimentation.
Watercolor pencils & ballpoint pen. Found a barely used art kit at the thrift store. Been away from drawing and painting for 40 years and really enjoying this! I may come back to this at some point, with better quality watercolor pencils, to add depth and contrast.
