Stacking App

Hi everyone! I’m developing AstroStack, an Android app for stacking and editing astrophotography directly on your phone.

This video shows it processing my real Milky Way RAW photos with dark and flat calibration frames, followed by some editing and background extraction to reduce light-pollution gradients.

It supports star alignment, basic light and colour adjustments, sky-background sampling, and TIFF export for further editing in Lightroom or another app. Processing happens locally on the phone.

I’m preparing it for release on Google Play—it isn’t available there yet. I’d love feedback from fellow smartphone astrophotographers: would this fit your workflow, and what features would matter most to you?

Clear skies!

Oneplus 15

Hi all, these are my best takes on the Milky way, from a Bortle 4 sky in Crete with my Oneplus 15. Both are 25 light frames of 20"@2500iso, 10 darks frames and 10 flats. All frames shot using OpenCamera. One is stacked in Syril, the other in Sequator, both stretched and tuned in Lightroom

But they said the cameras are not good...

Half the internet was cursing Oneplus 15 for its cameras... (the green mountains are a result of flattening the sky/eliminating light pollution using Syril)
