Any thoughts on why Ilia is steadily losing followers on TikTok?
That's it, that's the question
That's it, that's the question
Seeing how excited he was to make money on the last Twitch stream made me wonder about this. If he posted original content instead of just reposts on Instagram and Tik Tok, he could probably make at least about $5000 a month. He would also have a much larger audience and outreach. I don't understand why he doesn't take advantage of this.
Ilia is again talking about projects and plans after SOI and (hopefully) some rest. Here is what he has mentioned or has been talked about as a possibility since the Olympics. I'm curious as to what fans on here think of each of these and either what they might look like or whether they're realistic:
FIFA: I can't imagine what this would be. Maybe just promotion?
Comcast/2028 Olympics: I don't see him doing coverage, but maybe he could make some appearances in that area. Again, maybe just promotion.
DWTS: Very controversial obviously.
I have no idea what he meant when he hinting about getting in a studio, but surely he's not thinking about recording tracks.
I'm also still mystified about saying "new name" in that post after Worlds.
He has mentioned loving choreography a lot.
I think he's going to opt out of at least half the season.
Anything I'm missing?
When I first started looking at social media for information about Ilia a few months ago, I got the impression that he clowned around a lot in other skaters' pics and reels, did lives, and posted quite a bit himself. None of those things currently seem to be happening,. On Emi and Vadym's live he was literally staying out of view, even though people in the comments were begging him to make an appearance. I was just wanting to get feedback about this from people who have been following him longer than I have. Is it new?
And why does he get to have so much fun?! It's like Ilia has adopted him as a little brother.
I've noticed that Ilia reposts sometimes from dancer accounts, and he obviously loves hip hop. I also think he looks very natural in the "I Just Might" performance. I was wondering about his skating style in the future. Will he try to make his mark by being the first skater to really lean into hip hop and modern dance in future competition? And would that be extremely risky?
