I just received an email from NAB:

The Qantas Points earn rate of 1 Qantas Point / $1 spend on eligible purchases up to $5,000, then 0.5 Qantas Points / $1 capped at $20,000 spend in a statement period, will change to the following rate:

0.75 Qantas Points / $1 on eligible purchases up to $3,000 then, 0.25 Qantas Points / $1 spend on eligible purchases from $3,001 to $15,000 spend (capped), in a statement period.

So currently, $5k spend gets me 5000 points, soon I'll need to spend $14k to earn 5000 points. RIP. (Edit: for comparison, $5,000 spend will earn 2,750 points from October).

I already got my 100k bonus but this doesn't bode well. I knew it was coming, but damn, it's significant.
