Dodger Hate

I’m going to downvoted like hell like this but whatever. I get the dodgers hate. I want them to lose just as much as the next guy, however I also want my team to do well. Now with that, I do prefer to keep winning and not worry about what the other teams in the division are doing because we can’t control what the other team’s outcomes are unless we play them. However, that still doesn’t mean I want the other teams in the division to win. So please help me understand why we’re prioritizing rooting for the dodgers to lose rather than our teams winning the division (unless you’re a cardinals fan then you’re prioritizing the rebuild). Because to root for the dodgers to lose when they’re playing a team in our division, heck even a team outside of the division if you need them to lose to make the WC doesn’t make sense to me. Now playoffs is a different story, if my team is out I’d rather see anyone in the division win the WS or at least eliminate the dodgers more then to see that team lose. If it’s all just memes great keep them coming, but right now it feels like in a sense we’re rooting against our teams because of the dodgers hatred, but I can also stand rooting against the dodgers to root for the future of baseball as a whole. Please help me understand y’alls perspectives in all this and FTP.

Also if you need clarification on anything I said please ask.

Who would be the Cubs emergency catcher?

In the event Kelly and Amaya both went down in the same game and with Ballesteros in triple A, who would be the emergency catcher mid-game? Now obviously the next day Ballesteros would be recalled but in a mid game situation who would it be. Me and my dad’s mind when to >!Busch!< (spoiler so I don’t influence any opinions) because from what I can find he has some prior catching experience with the limited data I have access to. But who do y’all think id be?

Tone Tips

Hey all,

I'm entering my sophomore year of college, and while I've known this for a while, I need help with my tone. Any tips would be appreciated. Also, please don't just say "use more air" because I have heard that a million times, and while I understand what that means and the why behind it, what I don't understand is how to do it.

Injury prevention tips

I’m newish to bouldering. Done it a few times in the past so I’m not completely unfamiliar but now I actually want to get into it. I’m looking for tips to prevent injury as I had very minor carpal tunnel not too long ago. It’s gone away on its own but I do need to be careful of course. I understand warming up and cooling down (ran cross country and track for a long time) but with not doing much physical activity in the past year and weak grip strength and now suddenly ramping it up I’m looking for help protecting myself.

NINE? The Future!?

I can send the source if anyone wants it.

The description says “J J McCarthy has the potential to be a very good nfl quarterback. What stands out is his combination of athleticism, arm talent, and poise. He’s mobile enough to escape pressure quick and pick yards up with his legs, but he also has the arm strength to make difficult throws all over the field. He doesn’t rely on skill-he can beat defenses in multiple way”

Right the guy who would be better off not throwing the ball makes difficult throws.

I really hate the authenticating

Too many times have I joined a game and my new tm8 is in a 1v2 and I’m stuck authenticating for 5-10 seconds and of course with it being a 1v2 my tm8 can’t hold on. It’s really frustrating losing games by a goal knowing you could have possibly made a save if you got in right away like ye old days.
