Sanity Check.
2024 HR-Sport. This car is awful, right? It's not just me? Do I have a half lemon? Or a full one?
I got this car brand new. I was excited. I'm new to Honda coming from Ford ('94 Mustang, '13 Fiesta, '14 Focus). So this was supposed to be a major upgrade. About a month in I realized I didn't like it, but since then I've gotten to hate it.
Issues: A/C is currently making noise but doesn't blow out any air.
Transmission was "dirty" at 31,000 miles. Had to have it replaced.
Driver's seat does not stay raised when using the lever to raise it. The seat slowly comes down on its own. It's so slight you cant even tell its happening. But then you realize that you're a lot lower than you were when you started.
The shift knob does not lock on drive. Once while driving I reached for a cup [BEHIND THE SHIFT KNOB] and I pushed it to Neutral. I had to quickly move it back. Is this normal?
Sometimes the doors won't lock when I walk away from the car because (I think) it believes there's something or someone in the backseat. The sensor on the display tells me there's something in the back seat and to check. The seats are empty!
The car won't unlock when I place my hand on the handle and
the little ridges. I often have to dig for my keys out of my bag to unlock it with the fob.
Android Auto AND CarPlay are awful. It freezes both my iPhone and my Samsung (s26 ultra. Its new!) Whatever autoplay is doing is making my phones overheat and make the apps crash on both phones.
The car will NOT accelerate. Not even in Sport Mode.
Are these legitimate issues? Do any of you have these same problems?
