As an incoming sophomore transfer, I’m so scared that I’m not gonna find any friends and I heard a lot about the social scene at Stony Brook so I don’t know. Yeah I am quite nervous especially as a transfer where I don’t know absolutely anybody at all and most people already have their friend groups but yeah, is it really that bad?

as an incoming sophomore transfer student I finally got a room change first they randomly put me in a triple in Benedict and I couldn’t do that and surprisingly there was lots of rooms available thank god I secured my room very early as soon as it opened!
What are the odds of getting accepted to a room change as an incoming transfer sophomore. It says the application starts June 30th. And how do they work I’m confused??
So I’m an incoming transfer sophomore for fall of 2026 and they gave me a triple in Benedict I’m not interested in a triple due to personal purposes is there any way for me to request a double I have no problem with just a double but a triple is over doing it
