We live pretty close (.2 miles) from a pretty major road in our town. The speed limit is supposed to be 45 but people go way faster. Lately the noise in our backyard has gotten worse as they’re expanding the road and i’ve started to worry about more than the noise- air quality inside the home as well. We will be here for atleast a few more years and trying to make the best of it. Looking to filter mostly road pollution. I haven’t noticed any bad smells (i’m very sensitive) in our backyard or patio but i want to be conservative.
I was considering air fanta 300s for cost effectiveness. please suggest something better if needed
kitchen/living- open concept- 660 sq ft
master - 285 sq ft
kids room 1- 175 sq ft
kids room 2- 175 sq ft
Right now i just have 1 air doctor 3500. Looking to add an additional purifier to each of the above mentioned rooms. hoping to stay around $1000-1500 for all.
ALSO if someone could recommend a good outdoor/indoor air quality monitor i would be so appreciative! there are so many i am overwhelmed at options and what actually works. Would love to stay under $400 for that if possible.
I own one air doctor. A very large one that was expensive. I’m now realizing i really need one in each room. Doing more and more research on trueHepa filters and filtration in general, i’d love to hear about this communities feelings toward air doctor. i originally purchased it because all the ‘health influencers’ promote it. now im realizing is it more a gimmick than anything? And what purifiers have you been more drawn to instead?
i’m in Texas. I am looking for a larger air purifier for my kitchen, living room, dining room area. This area is open floor plan and approximately 2000 sq ft. We have smaller air doctors in the bedrooms and they’ve been OK. for us. I’m wondering if anyone would recommend this blue air (first picture) for 1/3 the price or the more expensive mega air doctor. or if anyone has other suggestions. I’m very sensitive to mold and VOC particles so that’s my main concern for filtering within the home. We live in a very humid and moldy climate.
These are two tomato plants i have. Little bing and black cherry. both are producing decent. i have them in grow science 15 gallon containers. i’m new to gardening. is this blight on the leaves? is there anything i can do? i do live in a very humid and hot environment.
Has anyone had luck with getting their gyno to remove their appendix during their excision surgery? Mine is scheduled for late summer but we haven’t discussed yet. My worst symptoms present as possible apendicitis every month (i’ve had scans and testing, my appendix appears fine on these). but i’m tired of worrying each month if it *could* be appendicitis. Hoping my surgeon might just agree to remove it- i know this is frowned upon usually.
