I just updated my screensaver to cycle through some of my favourite Conan artworks and this gorgeous Rob de la Torre painting came up. I liked the vibe — glowering Conan in the softly lit study — so I took this photo.

I thought you Crom-loving nerds might enjoy it.

I didn’t do anything special with this HG Exia: just some modest panel lining and a gloss varnish.

As an experiment, I did the panel lining with a Uni Pin fine line (.05). It didn’t stick to the plastic as well as the proprietary Gundam markers, but it was much neater and more precise. And it sticks just fine under the varnish.
