Segway Max G3

This image presents one possible redesign of the dashboard for the Segway Max G3 / G3 Plus.

So, what does Ninebot actually mean by the “Plus” upgrade (I'm NOT the poster of this video!):

1. They added front and side reflectors to the handlebar stem, while the reflector on the front fork was replaced with a “Max G3” badge.
2. They added turn signals to the rear swingarm and removed the side reflectors.
3. There are also rumors of a slightly larger battery—supposedly somewhere between the Max G3 and the GT3.

My take:

1. Pretty much meaningless.
2. The side reflectors were fine where they were. As for the turn signals, their location doesn’t seem well thought out—they’re not likely to be very noticeable to drivers, especially in daylight. And being mounted that low, they’ll constantly get sprayed with dirt and water. Another issue is that the turn signals are positioned too far forward rather than at the tail end of the scooter. If you’re stopped in front of a car near the right edge of the road, there’s a good chance the driver behind won’t even be able to see the signals.
3. Unless the battery is at least as large as the one in the GT3, I don’t really see the point of calling this a “Plus” model.

I have no background in programming or software design, but even I understand that the Max G3 dashboard design is complete garbage compared to the capabilities of the hardware and the company's employees!
No structure, order, or logic 🤦🏻‍♂️ And you're constantly forced to choose between what's NEEDED and what's NEEDED!
The vehicle's total mileage and daily time are visible by default on any vehicle, WHY do I NEED TO CHOOSE between total mileage, trip, motor temperature, current etc and what do all these indicators have in common???
How do Time, Bluetooth, and Headlight relate to each other so they be displayed in the same space/bar? Why can't the dashboard display whether regenerative braking is enabled and at what level? I don't know about other users of this vehicle, but I've already accumulated too many questions.

This time I designed an anti-shock folding mechanism with a magnetic closure.

The Magura MT7 brake caliper adapter is my most tedious and nerve-wracking "handmade" modification.

Made from rubber strip in signal red.

I replaced the 500W D-model motor with an 850W US version, removed the stator from the 500W hub motor, and installed it on the front + made new adapters for Magura MT7 brakes.
