The upgraded version of the cable has a driving speed of 60Km/h and an idle speed of 75km/h. I think this is already the limit of the G3 850W motor.

I am going to get my first electric scooter. I don’t know if I can or should remove the speed limit. I just want to go 30-35kmh. Does the region change method still work? I heard they blocked it on new firmware. Any other way to do it?

And if so, what should I use?

I’ve loved my G2 and I got to 4500km over the 3 years I’ve had it as a work commuter, but my biggest issue with it has been the rear tail light; either the wire corroding (because it’s just out in the open on the underside) or the plastic sides near the wheel snapping/cracking.

Does the G3 improve on this area with the rear light? I had to replace my rear light assembly 3 times in the time I’ve had my G2.

Seen a lot of posts asking about actual range with the dual battery setup, so I figured I'd share my data after a month of commuting and weekend rides.

- I use mainly the fast charger but I have both.

- Riding modes: mostly Drive (25 km/h), occasional Sport (29 km/h)

- Location: Québec, Canada — hilly mixed terrain, real streets and bike paths

**Key finding: temperature is everything**

The efficiency correlation with temperature is very clear and consistent:

That's roughly +30% range going from 6°C to 19°C.

**Realistic full-charge range projections (both batteries at 100% = 200% total)**

Based on my actual efficiency data, not Segway's spec sheet:

My honest all-seasons average for my location : ~62–65 km. This assumes mixed terrain, real streets mixed with bike paths actual riding conditions.

The advertised 95 km would require ~0.475 km/% efficiency — that's 37% better than my best recorded ride at 19°C. Not happening on real terrain.

**BMS behavior observation**

The B2 (external) consistently drains faster than B1 (internal) — sometimes absorbing 83–90% of total consumption when starting fully charged. This is by design; the BMS prioritizes the external battery to protect the internal cells. Once B2 is depleted, B1 takes over solo.

Practical implication: B2 is your limiting factor on long rides.

**Daily commute viability**

My round trip is ~20 km/day. With both batteries full, I comfortably get **2 full days** of commuting with ~30–40% combined reserve remaining. No need to charge every night.

Greetings folks with the Max G3. How are you liking it so far? Thinking about upgrading and selling my G30. I’m interested in the hill climbing capability, range, and power of the G3. Was hoping to hear your thoughts on it so far. If you aren’t liking it, what would you have gotten instead?

Curious if anyone else has noticed the Max G3 feeling a bit jerky when accelerating? Mine almost feels like it stops accelerating for a split second, then kicks back in again by itself. It kind of makes you rock back and forward while speeding up.

I’ve only just got it, so I’m not sure if it’s me still getting used to the scooter or if I’ve changed a setting without realising. Could just be me, but wondering if anyone else has noticed the same? It's the latest firmware, and I have the TCS off. TIA!

Hello Guys, i recently got my Family's G30D II (Germany so German D model) and was wondering if its possible to add /unlock a Cruise Control to it. Ive saw a video from 4 yrs ago where the person used 2 apps (m365 Tools and German Maneuvering i belive) to give it Cruise Control and additional 3-4 kp/h. I'm not necessarily wanting more speed but cruise control would be lovely since i have a genetic condition where a tendon in my thumb is too short so i have cramps after a few mins of driving.

If possible id like a simple way with no aftermarket firmware flashes. I hope i formulated well enough what i mean.

Just got my Max G3 and wondering if this is normal - is the front suspension meant to be this stiff?

I like how stable the G3 feels, but on normal bumps and rough patches in the road it barely seems to do anything unless I hit a bigger hole. I don't have a problem with the rear suspensions.

I’m 76kg and have ridden quite a few other scooters, and this honestly feels like one of the stiffest front suspensions I have tried. That said, dual front fork does feel a lot safer than C-type suspensions. What do you guys reckon?

Hello, I changed SN on my G3E to US with SHU. Everything works fantastic. I cannot pair scooter with original ninebot app, because the sn is already used with another account. I don't really care but I would like to see somewhere total mileage. I tried every dashboard app I could think off but none works. Any ideas ? Thanks .

Looking for a vehicle-specific rear deck extension / rear standing platform for the Segway Ninebot MAX G3.
Not interested in little universal “footrests” that clamp to the fender. I want an actual usable rear platform so I can stand farther back without putting weight on the rear fender.
Ideally:
brushed aluminum or CNC
bolts to factory mounting points
wide enough for a real foot stance
grip tape compatible
clean/factory look
Basically looking for something closer to a stunt scooter tail deck than a cosmetic peg.
Does anyone make one yet for the G3 specifically? If not, has anyone fabricated one?
