Ich studiere aktuell an einer anderen norddeutschen Uni BWL (komme jetzt ins 3. Semester) und spiele mit dem Gedanken, zum nächsten oder übernächsten Semester an die UHH zu wechseln. Die formelle Modulanerkennung kläre ich natürlich parallel mit dem Prüfungsamt, aber ich brauche mal euren Realitätscheck aus der Praxis.

Ich habe ein paar gezielte Fragen an die UHH-BWLer hier:

1. Die berüchtigten „Siebfächer“ & Module

 Gibt es bei euch an der UHH Module, die als absolute Rausschmeißer bekannt sind und die ich mir (wenn möglich) lieber noch an meiner Heimatuni antun sollte?

 Speziell Investition und Finanzierung (I&F): Ist das an der UHH auch so ein Endgegner oder absolut machbar?

 Wie läuft das Modul Grundlagen der Wirtschaftsinformatik ab? Was erwartet mich da?

2. Anwesenheit & Material (Wichtig, da ich noch pendeln muss!)

Da ich anfangs noch nicht in Hamburg wohnen werde, ist das Thema Flexibilität für mich überlebenswichtig.

 In welchen Modulen herrscht strikte Anwesenheitspflicht?

 Wie sieht die digitale Lehre aus? Werden Vorlesungsfolien und Übungen zuverlässig hochgeladen?

 Wie steht es um den Zugang zu Altklausuren? Sind die Profs in ihren Prüfungen berechenbar oder drehen die in den Klausuren völlig frei?

3. Funktioniert mein Lernstil an der UHH?

Mein bisheriger Ansatz im Studium sieht meistens so aus:

Ich gehe zur 1., 2. und zur allerletzten Vorlesung/Übung. Den Rest des Semesters lerne ich komplett von zu Hause aus mit den hochgeladenen Skripten, Übungen, Altklausuren und einer KI, die mir den Stoff in Ruhe erklärt (weil mir der Frontalunterricht meistens eh nichts bringt). Erst beim Selberrechnen und Nachvollziehen klickt es bei mir.

- Hand aufs Herz: In welchen UHH-Modulen kann ich diesen Ansatz easy durchziehen?

 Bei welchen Modulen bricht mir das das Genick und ich muss zwingend in die Veranstaltungen?

Hello people!

Currently I use a MacBook Pro 15“ Mid 2015 Retina Model with i7, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Intel Iris only graphics (no AMD!) It runs the newest Monterey version.

Recently for apps like Chrome, the support stopped.

So I might need to upgrade the macOS Version via OCLP.

I‘ll be honest with you. I like the Sequoia UI a lot. It looks a lot fresher and better than Monterey.

But I‘m afraid, if I update that the performance (snappiness) might get worse, the speed, the heat and also fan sound. And the battery life.

Anybody with a MBP 15“ 2015 already knows how loud they are.

Are there people who actually upgraded this model to Sequoia or any other newer version with the newer design and can tell me about the performance, heat, fans, battery life compared to Monterey?

How is it with watching anime? Sometimes I watch anime or movies at nigh, and with Monterey I usually have no problems on most pages with the fans. But will it get worse by upgrading?

I heard there was a time where the Kurdish youth inside of KRG didn’t learn Arabic at all in Daily lifes and at school, especially since the 1990s to 2010s.

But how about nowadays since the 2020s?

Is the trend changing, are they relearning it or is Arabic still irrelevant as it was in the 1990s to 2010s? Especially for provinces like Duhok, Erbil, Sulimaniyah, Halabja.

And also since many people who speak Sorani most probably don‘t understand Badini Kurmanji, how do they communicate with each other? Do they use Arabic or another language?
