I just received an email my work authorization has been approved under PP with starting and end date but it’s not reflecting on my uscis portal yet. Is that how the initial approval is?
I have read a couple of posts here about OPT rejection. How common is that because now I am getting anxiety because I am still waiting on mine to be approved.
I just paid for PP because I got a job and since I don’t know when the RP will be issued, I had to risk it so I don’t lose the job or any future opportunities. It’s really painful seeing that amount vanish from my account 🥲

I had the opportunity to do an internship with a federal agency as part of my final semester course. I stayed on as a volunteer after graduation then a summer internship opportunity came which my supervisor signed me if for. It was initially unpaid program but we were recently told we will be paid at the end of the two months, and they took our bank details and sos. Now, my opt is pending and I don’t know what to do. I also really need the money. I am left with 3 weeks to end the internship.
Aside the PP, what can I do to issues I get my application approved and card on time. Some people who applied regularly are getting their cards within two months or 3. Who can I contact at uscis?
