People who only knew me through school for a while were so surprised when we hung out with each other outside of school and I was really stylish, in a way that they arent shocked when a pretty person is stylish. My theory is people subconsciously think ugly people aren't "cool" or up to date with fashion trends and when thats contradicted they get confused.

Hi everyone, I'm a student currently completing a major project for my sociology class on the various ideological portrayals of gender identity within Western media, examining how identity is politicised, and how this impacts gender minorities.
I'd love to interview anyone who lives in a Western country and identifies on the trans spectrum. I'm looking for written answers, so it would take place over DM to keep things simple, and answers can be in as much or as little depth as you'd like. The responses provided will remain anonymous and strictly used for the purposes of my school project.
