First bouquet from my garden of the season

I am in zone 5 so it’s been a long wait but finally seeing enough flowers to make a proper bouquet! Hooray!

My dog modelling in my garden

My front garden is a work in progress I’ve been slowly working on it. We don’t have a huge budget so it’s been slow going. This year I finally see something to be proud of. The front planter my husband made me for my birthday last fall. I grow cut flowers (dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, strawflowers etc). The back I found some alliums at Costco and planted them in October. So pleased. 😀

Hello all!

I applied for my first grant from the Canada Council for the Arts right when they were switching over their portal, which is probably why things have been so delayed. I applied for the Arts Abroad International Residency grant. The deadline was November 5, 2025, and it says that “results are usually shared within 5 months of the deadline.”

It’s been close to 6 months now and I still haven’t heard anything. I’m leaving for my residency in a month, so I’m trying to figure out my budget and starting to get a little stressed 😅

Is it normal to wait this long? Has anyone heard of people getting results for this particular grant yet? HELP!

Thanks in advance!
