Starling declined an account
Hi,
My son who recently turned 16 tried to open a Starling bank account but was declined, they haven’t mentioned why.
He selected the 16-17 teen account to open, he wouldn’t have a credit file so that can’t be the reason they can deny him surely they would’ve thought of that if someone selected the 16-17 option.
He managed to get a weekend job and wanted the wages paid into as he got it recommended by his mates.
He’s used a British passport to apply so I don’t think it’s a residency issue, any help could be appreciated.
