I know it's 100 lawrence ville blah blah blah, and that they use smart lockers, but is there any other info I need to provide? Like dorm room #, ggc email, or do I just need my name. Do they use my name to then email me when my package comes?
Will I be alr with just pencils and notebooks for the first few days of class until I get more stuff?
Also, would the bookstore have the school supplies I would need? Like scissors, binders/folders, rulers, etc?
And finally, do I need to have the required textbooks by the first day of class, or can I get them later on?

I'm on Windows 11 and am fully up to date on all updates, even the optional ones. My audio just suddenly stopped working. It may have been awhile since it happened, because I only just noticed recently when I disconnected my headphones.
I'm not tech savvy so I contacted Microsoft chat support. They failed to access my laptop with Quick Access, and had to resort to just guiding me via text. I've restarted my laptop a bunch of times. Sound settings just shows Realtek, and clicking it under Output (which was extremely difficult bc it kept crashing for some reason) just sends me to basic settings and general. No option to Test the audio.
That's when the support person told me that the audio driver or smth is corrupted, since nothing right is showing. They told me that I would need to reinstall Windows to solve the problem.
I'm wondering if this is actually the solution, and if there's no other way to fix this? I've also noticed that I can't play any music on my laptop (Spotify and YouTube Music). When I try, it just says error. I can only play YouTube, which again, no audio.
Is there a problem of weed/cigarettes smells being prominent around campus? I'm a incoming freshman who's going to live in the dorms, and I remember smelling smoke despite the school calling themselves smoke free. (although idk if that's true)
