Day 3. I am in hell. Pls send encouragement, I feel like I can’t do this.
First pic is just before surgery and second is today. I am in so much pain and I’m so swollen I can’t speak. My surgeon didn’t give me rubber bands so I have to close my teeth manually and it hurts so much. Please tell me it’s about to get better.

Wanting to back out due to concerns about kissing. Seeking reassurance.
I did two years of orthodontia to prepare for lower mandibular advancement and now it’s almost time, surgery is in 2 weeks. I can’t stop crying due to fears that I won’t be able to kiss or be intimate with my partner afterward. I am wanting to cancel surgery over this. Please please please reassure me that it’ll be okay. Thank you, I’m so scared!
