Guys, excluding the Full Member nations and the Netherlands, who do you think is the strongest associate cricket team in Europe right now?

Would you rank teams like Italy, Scotland, Jersey, Guernsey, Germany, Denmark, or someone else at the top? Curious to hear your rankings and the reasons behind them.

They never let us realize how hard winning trophies actually is.

Sometimes it felt like these two were playing in a farmer's league. That's how effortless they made winning look.

Anything happen at Allen Kankarbagh (Patna) yesterday, 4 June?

I heard there was some kind of checking/inspection in the morning at the Kankarbagh Allen branch on 4 June. A few people were saying it was related to a couple, while others said some girls were making reels/videos in the washroom. Not sure what's true and don't want to spread rumors. Does anyone know what actually happened? Looking for verified information from people who were present there.

Ruturaj Gaikwad doesn't deserve the amount of criticism he gets for his captaincy.

Yes, there were some questionable decisions during the season, like persisting with Matt Short for longer than necessary, but people seem to forget the situation he was dealing with. CSK were going through a transition phase, several key players were injured, and the squad lacked stability for large parts of the tournament. Despite all that, the team still had a chance to qualify until their final match. That doesn't happen if the captain is doing a terrible job. His batting wasn't at his usual standards either, but one poor season shouldn't define a player's legacy. We've seen enough from Ruturaj over the years to know what kind of player he is. Personally, I think he should continue in a leadership role, maybe as vice-captain. It would allow him to focus more on his batting and play with freedom, without carrying the full weight of captaincy. Sometimes it feels like he's someone who overthinks things and takes responsibility very personally, which can affect his game. Criticism is fair, but the hate and overreaction are not. Ruturaj deserves more appreciation for how he handled a difficult season than blame for how it ended.

I ain't giving Ayush Mhatre to MI unless they're ready to trade Bumrah. Not even for Rohit Sharma.

Call me biased, call me delusional, but Ayush is one of the most exciting young talents we've got. A young top-order batter with massive potential is worth more to me than a short-term move. Bumrah is the only player I'd even consider in a straight swap, and let's be real, MI would never do that.

Guys, do you follow any foreign tutors or channels for understanding NEET concepts? (Pic unrelated)

I’m not talking about full NEET preparation, because obviously Indian teachers know the exam pattern better. But for pure concept clarity, especially in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, do you watch any foreign educators? Sometimes their way of explaining basics feels different and easier to understand. If you follow anyone useful, please drop their names or YouTube channels.

Can Ayush be our 7th bowling option?

He actually has a pretty good record in the U19 World Cup. Just look at his spells, his off-spin looks genuinely useful. I’m not saying he should be a frontline bowler, but as a part-time option for 1-2 overs when matchups are right, he could be valuable.

Guys, what can CSK do with the overseas combination next year?

Right now, Noor and Akeal look like our most reliable bowling options. And with Ellis coming back next season, the overseas slots become really interesting.

For me, 3 slots look almost fixed:

  1. Noor Ahmad: Key wicket-taker and probably our main spin weapon.
  2. Jamie Overton: Modern-day CSK cult hero. Gives pace, power and that all-round value.
  3. Dewald Brevis: Out of form right now, but still a proper match-winner on his day.

Now the real question is the 4th overseas slot.

Option 1: Akeal Hosein He has bowled some crazy spells, but towards the end he looked very average. Still, he gives control with the ball and can bat a bit too.

Option 2: Nathan Ellis Currently an Australia T20I specialist and a proper death-overs option, which CSK badly needs.

So what should CSK do? Stick with Akeal for spin depth and batting cushion, or bring Ellis in for death bowling?

Did we forget about Khaleel Ahmed?

Mukesh has been so good that we almost forgot Khaleel was missing. That’s probably the biggest compliment to Mukesh. He stepped in, did his job, kept things tight, picked important wickets, and made sure Khaleel’s absence didn’t feel like a major hole in the XI. Khaleel still brings that left-arm angle and experience, but Mukesh has made the selection conversation way more interesting now. When Khaleel returns, it shouldn’t be automatic. Mukesh has earned serious backing.

Got harassed and had my family dragged into it just because I said Kohli acts childish sometimes.

I’m literally a Kohli fan, but being a fan doesn’t mean you can’t criticize him when he does something immature. Instead of having a normal discussion, people started abusing me and bringing my family into it. This is exactly the problem with toxic fan culture. You can admire a player without worshipping every single thing he does. Criticism is not hate. But dragging someone’s family over a cricket opinion is just pathetic.

We didn't realise how hard qualifying for playoffs actually was until Dhoni was gone.
