I want to share this incident so that students staying in PGs around Dilsukhnagar can be careful.
My friend u/TrueManShip and two of his friends are staying in a 4-sharing room in Dilsukhnagar. There was one vacant bed, so on August 19 (Wednesday), a person named Surya Kantha Rao joined our room.
He told them that he had come to Dilsukhnagar for an interview at Yashoda Hospital for a pharmacy-related position and initially said that he would stay only for around two days.During his stay, he spent most of his time in our room and behaved very innocently and normally, so they did not suspect anything.
He initially told them that his interview was on August 21. When they asked him about it later, he said that the interview had been postponed to Saturday morning.
On August 22, he and his friend had their morning class and they told him that they were going to class. He said that he will stay in the room and asked them to go ahead.
His friend had his Lenovo laptop inside his laptop bag, which he had kept and kept it in his luggage bag locked it before they left.
When they returned from class at around 12:40 PM, they found that the person had left with their friend's laptop and laptop bag. Some money that was inside his bag was also missing.
They checked the CCTV footage .On the joining day he gave his mobile number and aadhar card photo .His mobile number is fake .they filed a police complaint .The police give us a number with the help of his aadhar .
During his stay, he said that he previously stayed at Sri Balaji pg.We went there and asked the owner about this guy and he said that he is a thief and he had stolen nearly 30k money from the students.
