Can’t sleep alone in a room — any solution?

I am 27M IT professional staying in PG, and have this weird problem. I can’t sleep peacefully when I am alone in a room at night. If someone else is around, i can sleep normally, but when I am alone, I feel uncomfortable sleep breaks 100 times and needs to keep the lights on.

The problem is that sleeping with the lights on is affecting my sleep quality.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you overcome it? Any practical tips or solutions would be appreciated.

Good PG for men

Hey Hyderabadis!

I've got a job in Hyderabad and am looking for a PG. I'm fine with staying alone or sharing with 1-2 people, but not more than that.

My preferences: 3 meals a day High-speed WiFi Laundry facilities Clean and hygienic environment Space to keep all my things Cost (Within 10k)

Looking for a place near Kavuri Hills, Madhapur (within a 2km radius if possible).

I'm open to all suggestions, so please help me out! I'm from Chennai, though hope I'm welcome here! 😭

How do I take this to FD? This is disgusting.🤮

How do I take this to Food department or something?

Story in short:

Placed Sneha Eggs from Zepto and got decayed eggs. Complained to Zepto and they just refunded and I strongly asked them to take the product away too as it smells bad and insects are all over the eggs, the customer guy asked me to place a dummy order so I placed eggs again, guess what, the other eggs were in the same position too.

Attached video and images.

Never ever place orders from Zepto, I am uninstalling this app.

Holy shit these new ads, what are your thoughts ????

Saw this drone show on top of T-HUB while heading back home from the office.

Definitely a cool way to grab attention! But now I’m wondering… are the people who actually want to book a flat really roaming around the streets at that time? 😂

Or was this secretly targeted at the people living in MyHome Bhooja? 👀

What do you guys think?

Bhimavaram special crab fry, prawn iguru, carb pulusu. Would Hyderabad be interested?

Please upvote and comment so that i can know the vibe:) would show this to my mom to encourage her.

Hey all I'm planning to open cloud kitchen. The speciality of this kitchen is only one curry per day. We mom makes the best ever peethala pulusu, crab fry, prawn curries and all the other non veg items.

My mom is a house wife and she is the OG of cooking sea food. Her recipes are decades old which are passed on from generations. When she cooks our apartment is filled with the aroma of the curry and everyone asks. We recently shifted to Hyderabad and planning for a simple app or take orders via WhatsApp. Menu is simple only one curry per day delivered to your doorstep for near by and other places via rapido.

Do you think this idea will work out? Single curry per day cause don't want to waste food and want to serve only fresh food. Pre orders only cause of the same reason.

My take on BSNL auctioning its prime assets in Hyderabad

Based on discussion with a senior BSNL employee

downfall of BSNL is not because they are incompetent but backstabbing, its the same BSNL that built largest network by coverage in India connecting remote areas

BSNL is auctioning assets to recover but not to invest in itself back, at this pace I could only see privatisation of BSNL, govt lobbying by billionaires at it's peak

Digital connectivity is a necessity not a luxury for developing countries and ensuring connectivity for all sections of people is Government responsibility

Next up ONGC, HPCL, BPCL, IOCL

Im against privatisation of PSUs, they serve NECESSITIES not LUXURY

Hyderabad wedding invitation

Hello fellow Hyderabadi friends. I’ll come straight to the point, recently I am getting many Hyderabadi wedding shorts. And after watching them everyday now I am craving for a Hyderabadadi Dawat!

I don’t know if this is right to ask or not, but I will ask anyway. Can anyone of you please invite me for a Dawat? It should be a big one, because I enjoy the smaller Dawats here now and then. I want to attend a “Grand Hyderabadi Dawat”. I live in a border district of Maharashtra, so I can come anytime anywhere in Hyderabad.

Please don’t judge me😭

One way around KBR - better today!!

Yesterday it took me 1 hour to go from LV Prasad eye hospital to road no 36.

Today hardly 15 mins.

Today the way around KBR was much much better.

Maybe the public is avoiding this, that is why?

But I felt the right lane (closer to KBR park lane), was used a fast lane, and the other one with entry and exits was slower (expected), unlike yesterday where everything was slow.

It could be that public has understood the entry and exits better.

But there was still contention at around road no: 45 ka left (it always had that, no surprises here).

I do feel bad about people coming from yousufguda and want to go towards road no:36, they have to take an entire KBR park round to reach. I hope they fix it.

Need Advice: How Can I Make Life Easier for My Mom During Breast Cancer Treatment? Please Upvote Even If You Don’t Have Advice, So This Can Reach Someone Who Can Help.

USED AI to Paraphrase. Kindly Excuse.

We live close to Miyapur

My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I live in the US, and I'll be coming to Hyderabad for about 2 months to be with her, take her to the hospital, manage appointments, get things organized, and just support her emotionally.

After I leave, my sister will be coming from another country and staying with her for some more time and i will go again after 2 more months. I'm trying to figure out how I can make life as easy as possible for both of them ( all of us ) for the next 6–8 months.

Financially, I'm not super stable or anything. I recently finished paying off my student loans and only just started saving properly. I've managed to save around ₹12L. Most of that will obviously go toward my mom's treatment, but I'm completely okay using a good portion of my savings if it means she me and my sister can live with less stress during this period.

I'm thinking I could spend around ₹30k–₹40k per month on household help and other services. That's roughly ₹3–4L over 8 months, which I'm okay with if it genuinely makes all our lives easier.

I'm mainly looking for recommendations for:

  • Reliable full-time or part-time maid services
  • Someone who can cook home-style Brahmin/vegetarian food
  • Deep cleaning services before her treatment starts
  • Reliable drivers/cabs for hospital visits (I don't have a car and I can't drive)
  • Patient caregivers/attendants if we need them
  • Laundry services
  • Dependable grocery delivery
  • Any services specifically for elderly people or cancer patients
  • Anything else that I'm probably not even thinking about right now

Regarding the Brahmin cook part I'm not trying to start a caste discussion here. My mom is very particular about food and won't eat food from non-veg restaurants, and if someone is coming home to cook, she is only comfortable with a Brahmin cook. I've tried talking to her about it, but she's not going to change her mind right now. At this point, I just want to find something that works for her while she's going through treatment.

If you've gone through something similar with a parent or family member, I'd really like to know what you arranged that actually made a difference. It could be something small that I haven't thought about.

My goal isn't just to arrange food and cleaning. I want to remove as many everyday responsibilities as possible so that my mom can concentrate on treatment and recovery, and me,my sister can spend time with her instead of constantly worrying about cooking, cleaning, groceries, transportation, etc.

I'll be there on the ground for the first 2 months, so hopefully I'll understand the problems better once I'm there and can set things up before I leave. I know I can't solve everything, but I at least want to try and make this period a little easier for them.

Would really appreciate any recommendations, contacts in Hyderabad, or lessons from people who have been through something similar.

Thanks.

How are people, the so called educated people of hyderabad, in the so called IT hub of the city, behaving in such an uneducated unciviliser manner? Like how difficult is it to follow the traffic signal? When u see red u stop that’s basic right? Why do u have to create a grid lock every single fucking day man?? Its ridiculous and extreeemely irritating🤦🏻‍♀️
