Season 3 shouldn't have existed
Caution: Very long rant ahead. Skip it if you want.
Not a single character in this season is root worthy. I repeat not a SINGLE CHARACTER Including subs favs radhi and reena.
Arjun : The most inconsistent character ever. What is his goal/purpose?
He went from becoming CEO for father's wish to going back to college to become doctor. He is doing worse job in both the roles. He has full rights to move on with another woman. So no comments on that. Though I am sure makers will ruin his character more to make a way for his end game with reena.
Vijay : He is amazing as a father. But as a love interest? Do makers even remember what they wrote before? He loved radhi for years. Then got attracted to anu. It was fine till then. But this aradhana angle? So damn uncomfortable and creepy.
It doesn't look like heartbeat, it looks like aradhana beat with her having numerous tracks with multiple characters.
Radhi : I don't get her. She can never maintain the balance. If she wants reena, she will ignore her other family members, if she wants her family then she ignores reena. There is a chance that she can have cancer. She doesn't even want to take tests adamantly? Does she forget the fact that she has other two kids who need their mother and a loving husband who was nothing but supportive towards her despite all her lies ?
She wants vijay to understand her despite hiding truth about his daughter. But now happily letting reena hide truth from him. Not once she told reena, you should tell vijay about it.
Why does she gives little consideration to other people but wants everyone to understand her and make things easy for her?
When she said If it turns out cancer, then she will see it as karma for her mistakes. It really felt like emotional manipulation. She was doing nothing but guilt tripping reena. I don't mind her being selfish if it is for right reasons. But it is getting harder for me to sympathise with her.
Reena : The biggest hypocrite of the series. She has different rules as per her convinence. It is face palming moment when she said everyone hide truths from me so it's okay if I hide just one truth.
Is she for real? Is this how she takes accountability? By blaming others for her mistakes?
There was literally no need to lie to vijay. That man was absolutely okay with her staying back just to take care of radhi reports. Why would he mind if she stays in her house?
Atleast radhi and arjun were guilty when they were hiding truth. Reena literally has zero guilt. Happily telling rocky she got great plan.
And of course again makers diverted the attention of audience from reena's mistakes. Whenever reena does something wrong, makers make sure to throw other character under the bus so that people can overlook her flaws.
This time too same gonna happen. After radhi, arjun, it is vijay's turn. Reena as usual doesn't need any accountability or character development.
Rocky : A sidekick to reena. Nothing more. Sometimes they try to show him as serious doctor only to show him as comedy piece in next scene. He has family, career, love life yet it feels like his whole life revolves around reena. Whenever there is rocky reena scene, the topic of discussion is always about Reena. Everytime. Never once the discussion is about rocky and his life.
And Rocky who told Vijay he should tell kidney truth to reena or else she might go away from him too couldn't open his mouth and advice reena to tell truth to vijay strongly by saying you are doing mistake. Instead he blindly supports whatever he does.
Overall not a single character is rootworthy for me.
The most anticipated mother daughter equation reduced to dramatic cancer, emotional manipulation & lies. There is nothing organic or authentic about this bond now.
No character learn from their mistakes. It's the same pattern of butcher one character to elevate anothor one.
In season 1 there were 5 interns. All five got individual track with balance of love arcs too. Even the nurse character had good arc.
Now even main characters became irritating.
No hopes on remaining episodes. I can already see where it will go.
