Inox Cinemas, City Mall 36 CLOSED!

Went to DMart at city mall 36 today specifically to check out INOX cinemas there because I wasn't seeing any movie shows for it on any booking apps, and learned from the staff that it has been closed permanently, RIP.

I know many of the moviegoers in this sub like to say it was shit whenever someone asked for recommendations on where to watch a movie in raipur. But as an introvert who doesn't really eat outside, it was literally the best option for me. It's close to where I live, it was the cheapest always, besides the holidays and blockbuster movies it was just a few people 90% of the movies I watched there. In terms of comfort I honestly have 0 clue why people recommend PVR at magneto mall, imo Zora's new seats are number 1 obviously, 2nd is Colors Cinemas at pachpedi naka, 3rd was INOX at city mall 36 for me.

Watching movies, tv shows, and playing video games are kind of my only hobbies, an escape from life which is stressful for most of us. I've been going to watch movies at the cinemas for 15 or so years of my life, every single week with the exception of them closing for a year+ during Covid. 1000+ movies easily (I know people might call me a loser for spending so much time and money on this but I rarely spend on other things). And majority of those movies were at this place. Even though I know it's unlikely or impossible it's ever gonna reopen, I really hope it does or some new cinema like it. If not, all the fun memories will stay with me always.
